1. Who we are

Timeburg (a FiveToClose product) runs timeburg.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. What we collect

• From Google sign-in: your name, email address, profile picture, and whether your email is verified. We never see your Google password.
• Account and game records: when you signed up and signed in, your credit balance, purchases, items used, daily reward streak and passes.
• Purchases: Stripe processes payments. We receive the order ID, what you bought, the amount, the currency and payment status. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referring site, collected by our servers and by the analytics and traffic-quality tools listed below.
• In your browser: your saved cities, settings and tutorial progress are stored locally in your browser (local storage and IndexedDB). This stays on your device.

3. How we use it

• To run your account, verify you are a real person, and keep your credits and unlocks.
• To process purchases, prevent fraud and handle support.
• To measure traffic, marketing campaigns and sales, and to filter out bots and fake traffic.
• To improve the game.
• To email you about Timeburg updates, offers, and new games we build. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in any email or by contacting us. We may still send you important account or purchase messages.

4. Services we use

• Google for sign-in.
• Stripe for payments. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Is Your Traffic Real (isyourtrafficreal.com) for traffic-quality and bot detection.
• LaunchDock (launchdock.cloud) for measuring campaigns, engagement and sales, including an optional, consent-based reminder to come back.
• OpenStreetMap / Overpass, Nominatim, Wikidata and Wikipedia for city maps and facts. When you search for a city or load a map, your browser contacts these services directly, and they see your IP address.
• Google Fonts for typefaces.
• Our hosting provider, which stores our servers and logs.

5. Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above to run the Service, when the law requires it, to protect our rights and users, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we must keep it.

8. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority. We will honour them as the law requires.
• You can remove Timeburg's access in your Google account settings at any time.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, keep sessions in secure HttpOnly cookies, store session tokens only in hashed form, and limit access to data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Children

Timeburg is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

11. International users

We are based in the United States, and your data may be processed there or wherever our providers operate.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
