Timeburg is an independent game made by FiveToClose. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Electronic Arts, Maxis, the SimCity franchise, or any other game company. References to other games describe the genre only. All trademarks belong to their owners.

2. Not affiliated with any city

Cities in Timeburg use real place names and real geography, but the game is not affiliated with or endorsed by any city, government or official body.

3. Map data and facts

• Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Maps are converted into a simplified tile grid and may leave out or change features.
• City facts such as founding years, population and summaries come from Wikidata (CC0) and Wikipedia (CC BY-SA), and may be incomplete or wrong.
• If map data can't be loaded, the game generates terrain instead, which won't match the real place.

4. History is simulated

The game's history is a fictionalised simulation. It includes how cities grew over time, which streets existed in a given year, building styles by era, technology dates and historical events. It is made for fun, not for education, research or planning, and should not be relied on as fact.

5. No professional advice

Nothing in Timeburg is urban-planning, financial, legal or other professional advice.

6. Virtual currency

Treasury money and credits in the game are fictional. They are not real money, not an investment, and have no cash value.
